

How to get here.
There are two easy ways to get to Eagan Lake From Vancouver.
From Vancouver travel Hwy 1 through the Fraser Canyon to Cache Creek, continue north on Hwy 97, at Hwy 24 turn right. Follow Hwy 24 for approximately 45 km, until you see Eagan Lake Resort sign, follow signs to resort.
OR
From Vancouver take Hwy 1 to Hope then the Coquihalla Hwy (Hwy 5) to Kamloops. Continue on Hwy 5 until Little Fort. Turn left (West) onto Hwy 24. Follow Hwy 24 for approximately 45 km to Eagan Lake Resort sign . Turn left and follow signs to resort.
If you are traveling from Vancouver on Hwy 97 you can also turn right at 70 Mile House, But be prepared for 50 km of gravel road as marked on map.
Dog Policy

Dogs are allowed at Eagan Lake Resort for a fee of $7 per animal per night.
When your dogs are outside, please keep them on-leash to avoid disturbing other guests.
Please pick up after your dogs.
Please supervise your dogs.

Fishing at and around Eagan Lake Resort
Eagan Lake is located just off BC's famous fishing highway. The lake is 5 km long by 2 km wide and noted for its Kokanee and rainbow trout up to 6 pounds.
Eagan Lake is quite central, placing numerous other lakes within a short distance, offering a variety of challenging fishing opportunities.
Other notable lakes in the area include: Bonaparte Lake, Bridge Lake, Sheridan Lake, Sharpe Lake, Crystal Lake, Hammer Lake, and more.
Mid-May through Early-October offers the best fishing.

Fire policy
Inside firewood is provided at all cabins (except cabin five) for the wood furnaces. Wood is in the sheds next to the cabins, each equipped with an axe for kindling.
Firewood for outside campfires can be bought for $10 a bundle.
We follow the regulations set by the Cariboo Fire Centre and the Cariboo Regional District.

PLAYGROUND
Sand box. Trampoline. Swings. Slides. Pirate Deck. Horseshoes. Picnic Tables.

MOUNTAIN BIKING
Endless country back roads wind through this beautiful Cariboo high country to 5000', ideal for the mountain bike rider. You will see a wonderful variety of wild flowers, birds and wildlife, a must for the camera enthusiast.

FISHING
Eagan Lake is 5 km long by 2 km wide and noted for its Kokanee as well as rainbow trout up to six pounds. The location of Eagan Lake places numerous other lakes within a short distance offering a variety of challenging fishing. May through October offer the best lake fishing.

HORSEBACK RIDING
For those wishing to go horseback riding, there are trail rides available 15 minutes away that offer a variety of experiences.

SEASONAL HUNTING
Eagan Lake and the surrounding area offer Moose, Deer, Black Bear and Grouse for the experienced hunter. Check B.C. hunting regs for seasons and draws.

WATER SPORTS
Eagan Lake offers a wide variety of summer water sports. Eagan Lake is clean and safe for Water-skiing, Windsurfing, and Swimming.

Eagan Lake Resort runs from the end of April to November
Note that the water gets turned off in October
